We were delighted to welcome Councillor Paul Collins (Eastwood Park Ward) to Heycroft for a tour and discussion. Paul is a former parent and Governor of the school and so is deeply invested in the school's history and current drive for continuous improvement.  

Paul was pleased to hear about the developments since our most recent Ofsted monitoring inspection, most notably around the curriculum and teaching and learning. He was also impressed by the level of support provided by SEEAT in helping the school team achieve their improvement priorities as well as plans for investment in the school building and learning environment.  

Paul has offered to attend the next School Council meeting and is keen to work with the school to improve the safety of the roads in the immediate vicinity.
