WHSG production has been nominated for 'Best Youth Production' at the National Dramatic and Operatic Association (NODA) Awards!
We are delighted to announce that once again, a WHSG production has been nominated for 'Best Youth Production' at the National Dramatic and Operatic Association (NODA) Awards!
Last year's show '9 to 5 The Musical' was reviewed by NODA representative Deborah Jea who said in her review:
'[The scenery was absolutely ideal – so well designed and the backstage staff must be congratulated. The set was very good, and the lighting plot was also well designed. Sound was consistent throughout, together with an amazing band and the scene changes/settings were carried out most efficiently by the cast and backstage crew and were co-ordinated beautifully. Fabulous costumes and a splendid enthusiastic and energetic cast produced a fun-packed, vibrant show.'
School staff, including the production team members, will now attend the award ceremony in April to find out if we are winners, but a huge congratulations to the many students and staff who contributed in so many ways to such a well-deserved achievement and fingers-crossed for the awards ceremony.
